Released on May 3, simply entitled "Pixies", the DVD is over two and a half
hours of archive action. There are four programs in total, which are -
LIVE - this is the complete Pixies set filmed in 1988 when the band
supported Throwing Muses at London's Town And Country Club. It has a choice of a stereo or 5.1 soundtrack.
VIDEOS - All eight of the rarely seen promotional videos - Monkey Gone to Heaven, Here Comes Your Man, Velouria, Dig for Fire/Allison, Head On, Alec Eiffel, Debaser
ON THE ROAD - an intimate assembly of footage filmed behind-the-scenes, mostly on Pixies 1989 European tour.
GOUGE - A documentary tracing the Pixies' story featuring interviews with
Bono, David Bowie, Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead), Graham Coxon and Alex James (Blur), Fran Healy (Travis), P J Harvey, Tim Wheeler (Ash) and Damon Gough aka Badly Drawn Boy.
